    This invention relates to preparation of a rubber compositions comprising EPDM and conjugated diene-based elastomer, particularly including cis 1,4-polyisoprene rubber, and to a pneumatic rubber tire with an outer, visible sidewall layer of a rubber composition comprising such a rubber composition. For such preparation, a combination of at least two diverse EPDM elastomers is used together with a phase mixing process comprising sequential phase mixing or parallel phase mixing in the sense of reinforcement filler and sulfur curatives.

    Provided are a rubber composition for tire containing raw material rubber and cellulose whiskers, and a tire produced from the same composition and having excellent general properties. Since the rubber composition for tire contains cellulose whiskers having superior reinforcing properties than rubber reinforcing materials, the rubber composition for tire can provide a tire having markedly enhanced properties compared to tires using the conventional rubber reinforcing materials. Also, when cellulose whiskers are applied to the rubber composition for tire, the content of the conventional rubber reinforcing materials can be reduced. As a result, the elongation ratio and low-fuel consumption performance that have been considered poor due to the use of conventional rubber reinforcing materials can be improved to a superior level, and a lightweight tire can be provided.

    Provided are a sidewall insert rubber composition for run-flat tire, which includes 100 parts by weight of raw material rubber including 30 to 60 parts by weight of natural rubber and 40 to 70 parts by weight of butadiene rubber; 40 to 70 parts by weight of carbon black; 3 to 10 parts by weight of a novolac resin; and 0.2 to 2 parts by weight of a methylene donor, and a tire produced using the rubber composition. The sidewall insert rubber composition for run-flat tire has excellent processability in an unvulcanized state, and produces a tire having excellent resistance to heat generation, resistance to fatigue and resistance to cracking, and having excellent run-flat performance and excellent low fuel consumption performance.

    A sidewall insert rubber composition for run-flat tire, and a tire produced using the same rubber composition are provided. The sidewall insert rubber composition for run-flat tire can realize excellent low fuel consumption performance by applying a functionalized, solution-polymerized butadiene rubber having a low glass transition temperature and thereby enhancing the interaction with fillers, and can provide a high strength sidewall insert rubber for run-flat tire with less heat generation by increasing the content of a filler.

    Disclosed is a rubber composition for tire treads and a tire manufactured using the same. More particular, the rubber composition for tire treads includes 50 to 200 parts by weight of a wet masterbatch prepared by reacting a styrene-butadiene latex, a carbon black and a liquid styrene-butadiene copolymer at 50 to 95°C for three to nine hours according to a batchwise method, 60 to 70 parts by weight of a raw rubber, and 50 to 200 parts by weight of a carbon black. Accordingly, the rubber composition for tire treads has enhanced grip and anti-wear performances under a condition of heavy load, high slip and high speed, and thus, may be usefully used in manufacturing a ultra-high performance tire.
