[Co(terpy)(NCO)2], has been synthesized and its crystal structure determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction methods, being refined to a residual of 0.048 for 715 ‘observed’ reflections. Crystals are monoclinic, space group C2/c, with a= 16.351(6), b= 9.202(3), c= 13.048(4)Å, β= 124.70(3), and Z= 4.
