Synthesis and crystal structures of η2-sulfenamido complexes of ruthenium and nickel, and of chromium imido and cobalt iminophosphorane complexes via sulfenamido rearrangement
摘要:
The interaction of [Ru(eta-C(5)Me(5))Cl-2](2) with Li(Bu(t)NSPh), gave two products, Ru(eta(4)-C(5)Me(4)CH(2))(eta(2)-Bu(t)NSPh)Cl 1 and the dimer Cl(eta-C(5)Me(5))Ru(mu-NBu(t))(mu-SPh)Ru(eta-C(5)Me(5)) 2; the former is best described as a eta(4)-tetramethylfulvene ruthenium(II) complex, while in the latter the bridging tert-butylimido and benzene-thiolato groups were formed by S-N cleavage of sulfenamido species. A similar cleavage resulted in the formation of Cr-V(eta-C(5)Me(5))(NBu(t))(SPh)(2) 3, in the interaction of Li(Bu(t)NSPh) with [Cr(eta-C(5)Me(5))Br-2](2). Interaction of CoCl2(PMe(3))(3) with Li(p-MeC(6)H(4)NSPh) gave the iminophosphorane complex Co(p-MeC(6)H(4)NPMe(3))(2)(SPh)(2) 4. Interaction of NiCl2(PMe(3))(2) with Li(Bu(t)NSPh) gave Ni(eta(2)-Bu(t)NSPh)(2)(PMe(3)) 5. The structures of compounds 1-5 have been confirmed by X-ray crystallography.
