    A poly(thio)ester (co)polymer which comprises a repeating structural unit represented by the formula (1-A) as an essential structural unit: 1 [wherein R 11 is a divalent aliphatic hydrocarbon group which may contain at least one sulfur atom in a sulfide group; R 12 is a mono- or poly-cyclic aliphatic or aromatic dicarboxylic acid residue; and X 11 and X 12 are each independently an oxygen atom or sulfur atom, and when X 11 and X 12 are the oxygen atoms, R 11 is a divalent aliphatic hydrocarbon group containing at least one sulfur atom in the sulfide group]; and an optical component obtainable by molding the poly(thio)ester (co)polymer. The poly(thio)ester (co)polymer is excellent in transparency and optical characteristics (e.g., a higher refractive index, higher Abbe number, and lower birefringence), and has also good mechanical characteristics and thermal characteristics, and further is excellent in melt fluidity and injection moldability.

    Polyurethane resin compositions include a urethane prepolymer with an active hydrogen group and a polyisocyanate, or a urethane prepolymer with an isocyanate group and an active hydrogen compound. The urethane prepolymers having an active hydrogen group or an isocyanate group are obtained by reacting an allophanate group-containing polyisocyanate with a side-chain hydrocarbon group of 5 or more carbon atoms and a bifunctional or polyfunctional active hydrogen compound. Particularly preferably, the allophanate group-containing polyisocyanate is obtained by reacting a C5 or higher carbon number compound having an alcoholic hydroxyl group and an organic diisocyanate, in the presence of an organic bismuth carboxylate and an organic phosphite triester. The polyurethane resin compositions are suited for use as adhesives for bonding low-polarity resin bases such as polyolefin films.

    Polyurethane resin compositions include a urethane prepolymer with an active hydrogen group and a polyisocyanate, or a urethane prepolymer with an isocyanate group and an active hydrogen compound. The urethane prepolymers having an active hydrogen group or an isocyanate group are obtained by reacting an allophanate group-containing polyisocyanate with a side-chain hydrocarbon group of 5 or more carbon atoms and a bifunctional or polyfunctional active hydrogen compound. Particularly preferably, the allophanate group-containing polyisocyanate is obtained by reacting a C5 or higher carbon_number compound having an alcoholic hydroxyl group and an organic diisocyanate, in the presence of an organic bismuth carboxylate and an organic phosphite triester. The polyurethane resin compositions are suited for use as adhesives for bonding low-polarity resin bases such as polyolefin films.

    The present invention is a method for producing a synthetic isoprene polymer latex (D), comprising the steps of: mixing and emulsifying (A) an aqueous dispersion comprising 0.1 to 5 wt% of a synthetic isoprene polymer and 0.1 to 20 wt% of a surfactant with (B) a solution of a synthetic isoprene polymer in an organic solvent, thereby producing (C) an emulsified and mixed solution; and then removing the organic solvent from (C) the emulsified and mixed solution.
