  A series of new organoelement-substituted (Si-, Ge-) tricyclononenes and tricyclononadienes was obtained via the [2 sigma+2 sigma+2 pi]-cycloaddition reaction of the corresponding substituted ethylenes and acetylenes with quadricyclane.
