...A new component of calculi, trimagnesium orthophosphate /is described/. In a microscopical study of thin sections from 3,500 urinary calculi we detected this compound in 14 stones, all of which contained struvite. New data suggest that trimagnesium orthophosphate is a transformation product of struvite. This well-crystallized substance was always detected a few days after the surgical extraction of struvite kidney stones, in contrast to the newberyite that appears on the surface of very old removed stones or after long exposure of stones to the atmosphere.

制备方法与用途

鉴别试验

与“磷酸氢镁(01221)”中方法相同。

含量分析

精确称取试样约200mg,溶于25ml水中和10ml稀硝酸试液(TS-158)的混合液中。如有沉淀生成,则过滤,并用1ml稀硝酸试液洗涤沉淀以使其溶解。将温度调整至约50℃,加入75ml钼酸铵试液(TS-22),保持此温度30min并不断搅拌。然后在室温下放置16h或过夜,使用30~40ml水分两次进行滗析洗涤沉淀,洗液流过滤纸。将沉淀移至同一滤纸上,并用1%硝酸钾溶液洗涤,直至最后的洗液对石蕊试纸不呈酸性。将沉淀和滤纸移入澄清器中,加入50.0ml 1mol/L氢氧化钠溶液搅拌至沉淀溶解,再滴加3滴酚酞试液(TS-167),用0.5mol/L硫酸滴定过量的碱。每mL 1mol/L氢氧化钠相当于磷酸镁[Mg3(PO4)2]5.714mg。

化学性质

磷酸镁可分为含有4、5或8个分子结合水的三种类型。白色无臭无味结晶性粉末,在400℃失去全部结晶水。易溶于稀无机酸,几乎不溶于水。

用途

营养增补剂;抗结剂;pH调节剂;稳定剂。还用作沉淀剂及牙科研磨剂,在食品工业中用作营养增补剂、抗结块剂等。

生产方法

由氧化镁和磷酸在高温下反应而得,也可从磷灰镁矿(bobierrite)中提取八水合物。

    A protective coating consisting of an aluminum or magnesium phosphate complex is used to encapsulate a wide variety of organic and inorganic particles. The coating is particularly applicable to organic and inorganic pigments and serves to improve the light, heat and chemical stability of these pigments. The coating is formed in situ by complexing the phosphate with the metal, preferably in the presence of ions of fluoride or fluoborate and depositing the same onto the surface of the particles.

    A nutritional feed supplement composition for post rumen metabolism in ruminant animals composed of spheroid nutrient particles coatingly covered with divalent metal salts which are insoluble in near-neutral rumen fluid but soluble in acidic post rumen digestive fluids. The divalent metal salts include magnesium phosphate, magnesium ammonium phosphate, and magnesium stearate. The resin membranes include polyurethane, polyethylene and polyacrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene. The inert powders include diatomaceous earth, feathermeal, and grain flours.
