  Irradiation of [(eta(5)-C5H5)Rh(PMe(3))(C2H4)] in pentafluoroanisole generates the metallacycle [(eta(5)-C5H5)(PMe(3))RhCH(2)OC(6)F4]; reaction of this complex with 1 equiv, of Ph(3)C(+)PF6(-) at 220 K generates [(eta(5)-C5H5)(PMe(3))Rh=C(H)OC6F4]PF6.
