  The synthesis of new cyclic stannyloligosilanes [R2Sn(SiMe2)(n)] (2a, n = 5, R = Ph; 2b, n = 5, R = Me; 3a, n = 6, R = Ph; 3b n = 6, R = Me) is reported.
