Neutron diffraction shows that the title compound contains both NâH ⯠Cl and NâH ⯠Pt bonds in the solid; such hydrogen bonding is considered to be responsible for the high solubility in dichloromethane of this and related adducts involving cis-[PtX2L2](X = Cl or Br, L = NH2Me or NHMe2) complexes which are otherwise practically insoluble.
