(dialkylamino)dimethylstibines react with diketene to yield N,N-dialkyl-4-dimethylarsino-3-oxobutanamides, N,N-dimethyl-4-diphenylarsino-3-oxobutanamide, and N,N-dialkyl-4-dimethylstibino-3-oxobutanamides, respectively.
