We describe the coordination chemistry of the primary phosphine PH2C(O)NH2 (phosphinecarboxamide) to form the novel complexes W(CO)5(PH2C(O)NH2) (1) and cis-Mo(CO)4(PH2C(O)NH2)2 (2).
