There is provided herein a process for purifying bisphosphate comprising solvating a molten bisphosphate in a mixture of water and water miscible solvent; cooling the solution over a period and to a temperature that provides for crystallization of solid product; increasing the pH of the solution prior to, and/or during, and/or after the initiation of crystallization, and/or after crystallization, by the addition of a base; and after crystallization is complete, separating solid product from the solution; washing the separated solid product in the same and/or different mixture of water and water miscible solvent; and, washing the solid product which has been washed in the mixture with water.
Formation of new bio-nanohybrid material was obtained by immobilization of alkaline phosphatase within a Mg2Al LDH by âsoft chemistryâ coprecipitation synthesis, resulting in an original spongy gel-like morphology allowing the preservation of the enzyme structure and activity even at low pH values thanks to the buffering property of the basic host structure.

A melt tension enhancer for polyolefin resins that contains polytetrafluoroethylene and a polymer of an alkyl (meth)acrylate of 5-30 carbon atoms, and a process for its production. Its addition to polyolefin resins enhances the melt tension of the polyolefin resins without impairing the surface appearance of their molds.
Novel polyester composition comprising a polyester, wherein said polyester comprises structural units derived from substituted or unsubstituted diacid or diester, a substituted or unsubstituted diol; a phosphorus containing compound and at least one selected from a stabilizer and an organic compound comprising at least one functional group is been disclosed. In addition methods for the preparation of the polyester composition and articles derived from said composition is disclosed.
