A kinetic study on the proton-transfer reactions of the title compounds coupled with inclusion reactions with β-cyclodextrin in aqueous solutions is carried out by means of a temperature-jump method. The forward rate constants for the inclusion reactions are in the order of magnitude 106 mol−1 dm3 s−1.
