Alkali metal salts of perfluorinated complex anions were used to fluorinate a few selected organochlorophosphorus compounds in the presence and absence of a multifunctional etheral solvent. Together with oxidative products, low to moderate yields of the desired monofluorinated products were obtained.
A one-pot, regioselective 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition of in situ generated (diethoxyphosphoryl)difluoromethyl nitrileoxide toward selected alkenes and alkynes is reported. This protocol enables facile access to 3,5-disubstituted isoxazolines and isoxazoles bearing a CF2P(O)(OEt)2 moiety in good to excellent yields, under mild reaction conditions.

Direct conversion of phosphorus(V) chlorides to the corresponding phosphorus(V) fluorides was achieved using a solid reagent, tetrabutylammoniumtetra (tert-butylalcohol) coordinated fluoride. The phosphorus(V) fluorides were directly synthesized and efficiently isolated in very good yields.

The oxidative halogenation of diaryl- or dialkylphosphine oxides with the hypervalent iodine reagents (difluoroiodo)toluene (p-TolIF2, 1) and (dichloroiodo)benzene (PhICl2, 2) is reported.
