Abstract A chain based on the Keggin polyoxoanions, (H2bipy)2(Hbipy) [AsW11CoO39]·H2O (bipy = 4,4′-bipyridine) (1) has been hydrothermally synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, UV, TG, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction.
