  The present invention describes a process for preparing a synergistic stabilizer mixture comprising the components of the general formulae (I), (II) and (III) in accordance with claim 1, characterized by the reaction of compounds of the formula (V) with an epihalohydrin of the formula (VI) in the presence of a phase transfer catalyst and from 4 to 20 times the molar amount of an alkali metal hydroxide, relative to compound (V), at from 20 to 220° C.
