    Cs(H2AsO4)(H3AsO4)2 crystallizes in a novel structure type and Li2(H2PO4)2 represents a new polymorph of this composition. The Cs and Li compounds grew at room temperature from highly acidic aqueous solutions. Li2(H2PO4)2 forms a three-dimensional (3D) framework of PO4 tetrahedra sharing corners with Li2O6 dimers built of edge-sharing LiO4 groups, which is reinforced by hydrogen bonds.     Tl/As/O/(H) led to crystal growth of some previously reported and also to numerous novel hydrous and anhydrous phases. Their crystal structures were determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. This includes the low-temperature forms of TlIH2AsO4 (isotypic with the corresponding phosphate homologues), the hydrogen arsenate TlI2HAsO4 (unique structure), the acidic phases TlIH2AsO4·H3AsO4 and TlI2(H6As4O14)·2H3AsO4

    (CeO)(3)(AsW9O34)(2).2H(2)O(12-) was synthesized by the reaction of A-AsW9O349- with Ce(IV). The product was well characterized by IR, UV, W-183 NMR spectra and elemental analyses. The structure of K5Na4H3[(CeO)(3)(H2O)(2)-(AsW9O34)(2)].11H(2)O has been solved by X-ray diffraction. The structure comprises a belt of three oxygen atoms alternating with the three cerium atoms encapsulated between two fragments of the trivacant Keggin polyanions A-AsW9O349-. Its structure is similar to that of the analogue phosphorus derivative. The experimental results show that many ligands, [Fe(CN)(6)](4-), [Fe(CN)(6)](3-), SO32- SCN-, etc. can replace the coordinated water molecules in aqueous solution resulting in characteristic colors of the solutions.
