    The present invention provides polymers having any one of properties including affinity for metals or polar resins, impact resistance, mar resistance, heat resistance, rigidity, oil resistance, transparency, anti-fogging properties, electric insulating properties, high breakdown voltage, coating properties, low-temperature flexibility, moldability, environmental degradation, fluidity and dispersibility, and provides a process for preparation thereof. The olefin block copolymers (A-1) of the invention are represented by the formula (I) PO 1 —g 1 —B 1 (I) (wherein PO 1 is a segment composed of repeating units derived from an olefin having 2 to 20 carbon atoms, g 1 is an ester, ether, amide, imide, urethane, urea, silylether or carbonyl linkage, and B 1 is a segment containing an unsaturated hydrocarbon or a hetero atom). The olefin block copolymers are suitable for uses in adhesives; various molded articles such as construction and civil engineering materials, automobile interior and exterior materials, gasoline tanks, electric and electronic parts, medical care and sanitation materials, materials of miscellaneous goods, resin materials having environmental degradation properties, films and sheets; modifiers and dispersions.

    A propylene-ethylene copolymer composition is obtained which has a good moldability and is excellent in the balance of rigidity, toughness, and impact-strength. A propylene-ethylene copolymer composition having a melt flow rate of 10 to 300 g/10 minutes and obtained by producing 60 to 95 % by weight, based on the weight of whole polymer, of a propylene polymer having a melt flow rate (ASTM D-1238) in the range of 100 to 1,000 g/10 minutes and having a ratio (Cf) of integrated values of the propylene polymer dissolved in o-dichlorobenzene at a temperature of lower than 112°C, and a temperature of 112°C or higher, respectively, which is an index of the stereoregurality in molecules and molecular weight distribution, when the amounts of the propylene polymer dissolved therein at each of the temperatures were determined by raising the temperature of the o-dichlorobenzene continuously or stepwise, of 0.5 or less, by carrying out polymerization of propylene in the presence of a highly stereoregular catalyst and hydrogen in a polymerization step (I), and then producing 5 to 40 % by weight, based on the weight of whole polymer, of an ethylene-propylene copolymer by feeding ethylene and propylene to the propylene polymer produced in the polymerization step (I) to react so that the content of ethylene becomes 30 to 80 % by weight, in a polymerization step (II); and a propylene-ethylene copolymer composition comprising the composition mentioned above and a α-crystal and/or β-crystal nucleator added therewith.

    A highly crystalline polypropylene having a degree of crystallinity of at least 50.5% calculated from the heat of melting; and a relationship between a proportion f(R)of R-lamella with respect to spherulites and a weight-average molecular weight Mw which satisfies the following Formula (II). The above-mentioned proportion f(R) of R-lamella spherulites is calculated using the following Formula (I) from the birefringence Δn of crystallized spherulites obtained by melting said highly crystalline polypropylene at 230°C for 5 minutes, cooling to a temperature of 132°C at a cooling rate of 20°C/minute, and then maintaining said temperature for 90 minutes.     The present invention provides a composition containing an α-olefin/aromatic vinyl compound copolymer, which has no chlorine content and can bring about formed products, such as films, sheets, pipes and tubes, exhibiting a moderate extensible elasticity and ability for adhering onto various surfaces together with superior properties in the transparency, fogging resistance, durablility of the fogging resistance and ability for restoring from strain. The composition comprises 99.5 - 90 weight % of a copolymer (A) of an α-olefin and an aromatic vinyl compound, the copolymer (A) being composed of 99.95 - 70 mole % of the structural unit derived from the α-olefin and 0.05 - 30 mole % of the structural unit derived from the aromatic vinyl compound and 0.5 - 10 weight % of an anti-fogging agent (B).

    The present invention provides a copolymer composition based on ethylene which exhibits an adequate extensible flexibility and an ability for adhering onto various surfaces and which is superior in the transparency, strength, restorability from strain, blocking resistance and processibility and has no content of chlorine, as well as formed products made thereof, such as films, sheets, pipes and tubes, wherein said copolymer composition comprises (A) 10 - 90 % by weight of a copolymer of ethylene with an aromatic vinyl compound and/or an α - olefin, which has a degree of crystallinity of at least 10 % but less than 90 % and an intrinsic viscosity [η A] of 1 - 10 dl/g and (B) 10 - 90 % by weight of a homopolymer of ethylene or a copolymer of ethylene with an aromatic vinyl compound and/or an α -olefin, which has a degree of crystallinity higher than 10 % but not higher than 90 % and an intrinsic viscosity [η B] of 0.1 - 2 dl/g wherein at least one of the above ethylenic copolymer (A) and the ethylenic polymer (B) has the copolymerized aromatic vinyl compound and wherein the ratio of [degree of crystallinity of (A)/degreee of crystallinity of (B)] is less than 1 and the ratio of [η A]/[η B] is greater than 1.
