Stannylene insertion into an amino–stabilized iron-silylene complex. Synthesis of [(OC)3{(Me2N)2(RO)P}Fe{[NMe2Si(OR)2(SnNButSiMe2NHBut)]}](R = Me, Et)
Reaction of the HNMe(2)-stabilized iron-silylene complexes (1a,b) with the stannylene reagent SnNBu(t)SiMe(2)NBu(t) 2 occurs selectively by insertion into the N-H bond to give novel types of base-stabilized silylene, stannylene complexes.
