  The η2-sila-acyl complex cp*Cl3Ta(η2-COSiMe3)(cp*=η5-C5Me5)(1) reacts rapidly with diphenyldiazomethane to form cp*Cl3[graphic omitted]CPh2}(2), the first characterized product of reaction between an η2-acyl compound and a diazoalkane.
