  The reaction of the metallo-phosphines Cp(OC)2(L)W-PR2 ( (2a, P(o-Tol)2 (2b), P(H)Mes (2c), P(Me)Mes (2d); ) and Cp(OC)2Fe-PR2 ( (4a), P(tBu)(iPr) (4b)) with dimethyldioxirane leads to the corresponding metallo-phosphineoxides Cp(OC)2(L)W-P(O)R2 and Cp(OC)2Fe-P(O)R2 (5a, 5b). The structure of Cp(OC)3W-P(O)(o-Tol)2 (3b) is determined by X-ray analysis.
