    By reaction of RMgCl (R = (Pr'O)(3)SiCH2) with CP2TiCl2, CP2ZrCl2 and SnCl4, the stable metal alkyls CP2TiClR (1), Cp2TiR2, Cp2ZrR2 and SnR4 were obtained in high yield and characterized. The reactivity of 1 towards [Cu(CH3CN)(4)]PF6 (as Cl abstractor) was investigated and compared to previously reported cases. Cp2TiF2 was obtained quantitatively. By reaction of 1 with NaCO(CO)(4) the compound Cp2RTi-O-TiClCp2 (2) was separated in very low yield. The crystal structures of 1 and 2 were also determined by X-ray diffraction methods.
