Abstract A novel planar chiral ferrocene cyclopalladated compound (C2) was synthesized and fully characterized. The absolute configuration of C2 has been determined by single-crystal X-ray analysis. The cytotoxic activities of C2 and cisplatin were evaluated against liver (MHCC97 and HepG2), mouse breast (4 T1) and ovarian granulosa (KGN) cancer cell lines.
