摘要:
The reaction of sodium N,N-diethyldithiocarbamate trihydrate with tin(II) chloride under aerobic conditions yields the unexpected cis-dichlorobis(N,N-diethyldithiocarbamato)tin(IV) which has been characterized by X-ray crystallography. This illustrates the tin to be in a distorted octahedral configuration; the coordination valencies being provided by the two chlorines in cis positions and two dithiocarbamates in cis-orientations. The Sn-119 NMR of the complex is consistent with the presence of six coordinated tin(IV). The formation of the complex is explained via the intermediate product, tetraethylthiuram disulphide.
