  Six ferrocene-containing enaminones [C5H5FeC5H4C(O)CH=C-(NHAr)R] (HL1, R=CH3, Ar=C6H5; HL2, R=CH3, Ar=2-CH3C6H4; HL3, R=CH3, Ar=2,6-(CH3)(2)C6H3; HL4, R=C6H5, Ar=C6H5; HL5, R=C6H5, Ar=2-CH3C6H4; HL6, R=C6H5, Ar=2;6-(CH3)(2)C6H3) and their copper(II) complexes (I, (L2Cu)-Cu-1.2H(2)O; II, (L2Cu)-Cu-2; III, (L2Cu)-Cu-3; IV, (L2Cu)-Cu-4.2H(2)O; V, (L2Cu)-Cu-5.2H(2)O) have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, (HNMR)-H-1, IR and UV spectroscopies.
