  AbstractTreatment of the organometallic linkers [Cp*M(η4‐benzoquinone)] [M = Rh, LRh, (1a); M = Ir, LIr (1b)] with excess AgOTf provided the novel 1‐D coordination polymers of the formula {[Ag3(LM)2(CH3CN)2(OTf)][LM](OTf)2}n (2a,b). Single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction studies carried out on 2a and 2b showed that these polymers exhibit, as an outstanding feature, the presence of d10···d10 argentophilic interactions between the silver atoms.
