Crystal data of KNaSiF6 were obtained by means of X-ray diffraction. The compound crystallizes with space group Pnma and the lattice constants a = 9.3246(11), b = 5.4992(6), and c = 9.7892(13) angstrom. Its crystal structure was solved and refined to R = 0.046. SiF6 octahedra form layers parallel to (100), connected within these layers by Na-F bonds and between the layers by K-F as well as Na-F bonds. K shows a ninefold co-ordination, Na a tenfold co-ordination. Unexpectedly, KNaSiF6 shows only far structural relationships to the components K2SiF6 and Na2SiF6.
