The reaction of trans-Fe(CO)(2)(CS2)(Ph(2)Ppy-P)(2) (Ph(2)Ppy=2-(diphenyhhosphino)pyridine) with FeCl3 resulted in the formation of the binuclear complex [eta(2)-Ph2P(O)py](2)Fe(mu-Cl)(2)FeCl2 (1), while the reaction of trans-Fe(CO)(3) (Ph(2)Ptaz-P)(2) (Ph(2)Ptaz=2-(diphenylphosphino)thiazole) with Fe(NCS)(3) gave Fe(NCS)(2)[eta(2)-Ph2P(O)taz](2) (2).
