  Abstract Heat capacities of ammonium and pyridinium pentafluorotellurate(IV) (NH 4 TeF 5 and PyHTeF 5 ) were determined between 10 and 300 K. The thermodynamic functions C P , S °, H °( T )- H °(0) and -[ G °( T )- G °(0)]/ T were tabulated in the same range of temperature. Precise details are given about the synthesis, purification and handling conditions of these compounds.
