  Two series of vanadocene complexes of the type Cp'2VX2 (Cp' = eta(5)-C5H5, eta(5)-C5H4Me; X = dicyanamide, tricyanomethanide, dicyanonitrosomethanide) were prepared by the reaction of appropriate vanadocene dichloride complex with alkali salt of non-linear pseudohalide.
