摘要:
Platinum(IV) complexes of the tetramine type [PtEnPy(2)X(2)]X-2 center dot H2O (X = Cl, Br) have been found to lose a coordinated pyridine molecule at 125-135 degrees C, thereby transforming into triamines [PtEnPyX(3)]X. The complex [PtEnPyCl(3)]NO3 has been isolated. Dissolution of the product of [PtEnPy(2)Cl(2)]Cl-2 chlorination in HCl results in complete destruction of the five-membered chelate ring. The complex [Pt(NH3)(2)Py2Cl2](NO3)(2) has been isolated. A number of compounds have been studied by X-ray diffraction: [PtEnPy(2)Cl(2)]Cl-2 center dot 2H(2)O (I) (monoclinic, space group P2(1)/c,a=15.418(2) angstrom, b=9.203(1) angstrom, c = 13.762(3) angstrom, beta = 104.18(2)degrees, Z = 4, R-hkl = 0.25), [PtEnPyCl(3)]NO3 (II) (monoclinic, space group P2(1)/c, a = 8.194(1) angstrom, b = 8.846(1) angstrom, c = 19.855(2) angstrom, beta = 97.10(1)degrees, Z = 4, R-hkl = 0.048), and [Pt(NH3)(2)Py2Cl2](NO3)(2) (III) (orthorhombic, space group Pbca, a = 12.316(2) angstrom, b = 13.250(3) angstrom, c = 21.868(4) angstrom, Z = 8, R-hkl = 0.027). The reaction of [PtEnPyBr(3)] Br with bromine gives the polybromide [PtEnPyBr(3)] Br center dot Br-2 center dot 0.5 H2O. The chlorination of [PtEnPyCl(3)]Cl gives the chloramine complex [Pt(NH2-CH2-CH2-NH(Cl)PyCl3]Cl center dot H2O.
