  The C-C coupling reactions involving W/sub 2/(..mu..-C/sub 2/R/sub 2/) compounds in the reactions with alkynes and nitriles have been studied. Results of crystal structure, molecular structure, and NMR studies are reported. A comparison of the reactions of this type of compounds with that of Mo/sub 2/(OR)/sub 2/ is made, but the C-C coupling reaction is not noted for the Mo compound.
