  obtained by reaction of borohydride with the cations [Fe(η2-CS2R)(CO)2(PMe3)2]+. The complexes Fe(η2-HCS2R)(CO)2(PMe3)2 react with electrophilic alkynes with cleavage of the coordinated CS bond and the insertion of both the CC bond and carbon monoxide into the CS bond to give six-membered metallacyclic species.
