  The Group 11 metal imino complexes [{Cu[mu-N = C(BUt)Ph]}(4)]. thf 2 (thf = tetrahydrofuran) and [{CU[mu-N=C(BUt)Ph]}(4)(PPh(3))(2)]. 6thf 3 have been prepared by the unusual ligand-transfer reactions of the tris(imino)stannate complex Sn[mu-N = C(BUt)Ph]Li-3 . thf with CuCl; both complexes have been shown by crystallography to contain planar Cu-4 cores.
