For trans-[CoCl(N3)(en)2]+, ΔV\eweq is 0.7±0.6 cm3 mol−1 at 30 °C in 0.011 M HClO4 (1 M=1 mol dm−3) and ΔV is −11.0±0.6 and −11.4±0.3 cm3 mol−1 at 25 °C in 0.008 M HClO4, thus yielding the trans and the cis aqua products respectively.
