  Reaction of [Na(Me(2)pz)(thf)](4) (2) with [(Me(2)pz)AlMe2](2) in THF generates sodium bispyrazolylaluminate [Na{Al(Me(2)pz)(2)Me-2}](infinity) (1), the first example of a structurally characterized aluminum analog of a polypyrazolylborate.
