We report the synthesis and characterization of a series of para-halo-phenoxy-boronsubphthalocyanines (BsubPcs). Across this series, a crystal polymorph of p-bromophenoxy-BsubPc (α-BrPhO-BsubPc) contains a clear and discernible ÏâBr interaction directing crystallization into a motif not previously seen for phenoxy-BsubPcs.
