  The first ruthenium(II) 1,2,3-trimethylindenyl complexes have been prepared, including allenylidene, alkynyl, and alkenylcarbene derivatives. The X-ray crystal structure of [Ru(CCCPh2)(η5-1,2,3-Me3C9H4)(CO)(PPh3)] [BF4] is described.
