  摘要：

  A polypyridyl ruthenium complex monodentately coordinated by 2-mercaptopyricdine N-oxide was prepared as a candidate for showing linkage isomerisation. [Ru(bpy)(tpy)(2-OpyS)]PF6 (bpy: 2,2'-bipyridine; tpy: 2,2':6',2 ''-terpyridine; 2-OpyS(-): anion of 2-mercaptopyridine N-oxide) was synthesised and structurally characterised. The complex contains a 2-OpyS- ligand coordinating only with the sulphur atom. Electrochemically induced linkage isomerisation was examined for this complex. (C) 2008 Elsevier Ltd.
