A trisheterolepticcyclometalated ruthenium complex (see picture) bearing aliphatic substituents was synthesized, characterized, and evaluated in a dye‐sensitizedsolarcell (DSSC). This thiocyanate‐free dye, which has favorable structural elements to exhibit long‐term stability, generates a highpoweroutput in the DSSC with both iodide‐based and Co‐based redox shuttles.
