  Binuclear bridged complexes [(bpy)(2)Ru(mu-bptz)Re(CO)(3)center dot(Hlg)](X)(2) [bptz = 3,6-bis(2-pyridyl)-1,2,4,5-tetrazine; Hlg = Cl, X = BF4 or Hlg = Br, X = NO3]. Were synthesized and studied by mass spectrometry and infrared and electronic spectroscopy. The complexes give a strong long-wave band in the electronic absorption spectrum. The spectra were interpreted on the basis of TD DFT quantum-chemical calculations.
