  Salts of [CrF(NH3)5]X2 (X = NO3, 1/2ZnCl4) are readily prepared from the reaction between [Cr(NCO)(NH3)5](NO3)2 and 40% HF. The structure of [CrF(NH3)5][ZnCl4] has been determined by single-crystal X-ray analysis.
