Reactivity of triosmium clusters with substituted triphenylphosphines: the crystal and molecular structure of [HOs3(CO)9(2-PNH)] (2-PNH2 = 2-aminophenyldiphenylphosphine)

reaction of 2-aminophenyldiphenylphosphine (2-PNH2) with [Os3(CO)11(MeCN)] and [Os3(CO)10(MeCN)2] has yielded the compounds Os3(CO)11(2-PNH2)] and [HOs3(CO)9(2-PNH)] respectively. The compounds have been characterized spectroscopically and the structure of one of them [HOs3(CO)9(2-PNH)] determined by an X-ray diffraction study. The ligand bridges an edge of the triosmium triangle with the P atom bound
