  Rhodium(II) complexes [Rh(2)(mu-OAc)(2)(OAc)(bpy)(H(2)O)(2)]PF(6) (1), [Rh(2)(mu-OAc)(2)(OAc)(phen)(H(2)O)(2)](PF(6)).H(2)O (2), [Rh(2)(mu-OOCCH(3))(3)(OOCCH(3))(phen)] (3) and [Rh(2)(mu-O(2)CCH(3))(3)(O(2)CCH(3))(Ph(2)phen)] (4) (Ph(2)phen = 4,7-diphenyl-1,10-phenanthroline) have been synthesized and characterized by means of NMR, IR and UV-Vis spectroscopic methods. X-ray structure of complex 4.1.5(CH(3)COCH(3)) has been determined and its geometry and electronic structure has been elucidated using OPBE and B3LYP DFTmethods.
