  A new ligand system, 3,5-di-tert-butyl-1,4-benzoquinone ferrocenoylhydrazone, was synthesized and its complexes with zinc(II), Hg(II), and palladium(II) were prepared. The compounds were studied by IR, electron absorption, and H-1 NMR spectroscopy. Structure of the compounds obtained is discussed.
