  The synthesis of [Mn2H2(CO)6(OEt)2POP(OEt)2}] and its reactions with tetrahydrothiophene, methyl-triphenylphosphinegold(I), sodium amalgam followed by triphenylphosphine–group 1b metal cations, and with copper(I) haliders are described; the structure of [Mn4Cu2H6(CO)12(OEt)2-POP(OEt)2}2] has been established by X-ray diffraction.
