  Treatment of [Ru2(CO)2(µ-CO)(µ-CHR)(η-C5H5)2](R = H, Me, CO2Et) with H2(1 atm) under u.v. irradiation provides fluxional [Ru3H3(CO)3(η-C5H5)3], the structure of which has been established by X-ray diffraction; the complex reacts readily with unsaturated hydrocarbons.
