  从α，β-不饱和酮tigloylferrocene（1）和四甲基环戊-2-烯酮开始，制备了相应的二茂铁烯丙基烯醇。在酸性（水性）条件下，为了消除水以生成烯烃衍生物，竞争性烯丙基重排占主导地位。原位产生的烯丙基阳离子经历随后的亲电加成。母体由叔戊基二茂铁衍生的醇2和4优先形成二聚体，其中一个独特的立体异构体6，已分离并具有充分的特征。在四甲基二茂铁基环戊烯醇的情况下，通过涉及氢化物移位和CC分裂步骤的烯丙基重排（Nazarov型环化的还原反应），然后进行质子化的H 2 O重排/消除序列，可以生成稳定的二乙烯基阳离子。得到主要产物4-二茂铁基-4-羟基-2,3,5,6-四甲基恶烷（8）。基于分离出的中间烯丙基醇，推测了最终产物的形成机理。二聚体6，同晶型二茂铁基恶烷8a，8b和1,1'-二聚三氟甲基二茂铁的X射线结构测定（9）。检查了9的独特晶体堆积（由于分子空间范围减小而形成的椭圆形构象）。57

In general, the allylferrocenes 2 are more reactive than the corresponding acyl derivatives 1. For the phenyl-substituted substrate 2a some CH insertion (5%) to the acyl derivative 1a is also observed.
