Toward the Rational Design of Supramolecular Coordination Polymers. The Effect of Solvent and Substituent Changes on the Structure of Self-Assembled Metal-Organometallic Networks
摘要:
Self-assembly of the pi-complex (eta(4)-benzoquinone)Mn(CO)(3)(-) (QMTC) with metal ions [Mn(11), Co(11), Zn(II)] generates neutral metal-organometallic coordination networks (MOMNs). The network architecture can be controlled by (1) a solvent-induced change in coordination geometry at the metal nodes and (2) the introduction of substituents on the benzoquinone ring.
