  Syntheses of group 6 mixed-ligand tricarbonyls M(CO3(NN)[P(OC2H5)3] (M = Cr, Mo, W; NN = 2,2′-bipyridyl and 1,10-phenanthroline) have been reinvestigated, simplified and the complexes spectroscopically characterized.
